I can't believe it's been almost a year since my last update.  There are a few pieces that I wrote during that year that I haven't posted yet.  I'll try to get on that.

I said several months ago at the svufiction.com forums that I would not be writing SVU fic anymore.  I've become largely discontented with the show, and almost all of my fic is based on material from episodes which feature both Liz and Casey.  Unfortunately, we haven't been afforded that pleasure this season, and with Diane Neal leaving...I probably won't go back to the show.  I also felt for some time that I had written everything I wanted to write about Liz/Casey.

But I will be editing and finishing the fic that I have written.  I will also post everything that isn't posted here. 

And...there is one more fic that I want to write this this pairing; so, hopefully I can get to it soon.

I realize that I've been neglecting my fic journal, but Christmas is finally here--more importantly, December is finally here.  And that means I can actually write.  I do have a few shor things to add, and I'm planning on writing some new stuff in the next three weeks (before the Spring semester starts).

I've heard that Judith Light is going to be on the next new episode of SVU (Jan 2); so, I might get inspired. *grin*

Other than that, I hope everyong enjoys the holidays!

I am also in the process of updating the tags on all of the posts.  Right now, they are all tagged by series and number.  I realize that this can be incredibly frustrating when looking for a story by title; so, I'm going to add an additional tag of the title to each post.

Hello everyone!

I'm finally settled (or something like it) into my house in Charleston.  My girlfriend is living about three blocks from me, which is nice.  I wish we could live together, but with my parents still helping me on rent, that's not possible just yet.  Anyway, I'm sure you don't want to hear about that, or my adorable new babies...kittens actually.  I have two tabbies--boy and girl named Oberon and Titania.

This post is actually to say that I'll be taking a little break from writing fic.  I realize that I haven't added anything new in a while, but this is just to make the hiatus official.  I had my first graduate class today; so, I'm really taking this break in order to gauge just how much work I will be doing and where I can fit writing fic in.  So, don't worry (if you were worrying), I am by no means giving up fic writing.  I am simply taking a month or so to figure my schedule out; then, I will finish what I've left unfinished (I'm sorry about that), as well as add new things.
